Each auction runs for a defined period, allowing collectors to compete openly for highly sought-after bottles. This format is particularly effective for scarce releases, prestige cuvées, aged XO and Hors d’Âge Cognac, rare single malts and limited edition rum.All transactions are processed through a secure escrow-based payment system, protecting both buyers and sellers throughout the transfer process.

Sellers pay a placement fee per auction listing, with optional reserve pricing and promotional upgrades available through platform points to increase exposure.

Auctions FAQ

Each auction runs for one month. Buyers place bids during the active period. The highest valid bid at closing wins the auction. Payment is secured through escrow before shipment.

An auction costs €5 if the lot sells; we deduct it from the payout. This fee covers platform exposure and auction management

A buyer’s premium of 12.5% is applied only after a successful purchase. This supports platform operations, secure escrow and seller verification.

Yes. Sellers may activate an optional reserve price for 500 platform points. If the highest bid does not reach the reserve price, the bottle will not be sold. This feature allows sellers to protect a minimum value while still benefiting from competitive bidding.

If an auction ends without a successful bid, the seller may relist the bottle or choose to place it on the fixed-price marketplace.
